His list of admirers include the Grammy-winning producer David Foster, producer/composer Johnny Mandel and his long-time friend and mentor, the late Frank Sinatra. Kenny was a fixture on the international club circuit from Monte Carlo to New York's famed Tavern on the Green. Colman's recordings include the critically acclaimed Dreamscape, a classic collection of ballads recorded with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and backed by such talents as composer Johnny Mandel and harmonica legend Toots Thielmans. Kenny, who made his home in Vancouver with his beloved Lily, was born in Winnipeg and passed away in August, 2017. ...
