Conducted Summer Tours of the Historic Orpheum

In 2013 the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame will once again be offering guided tours of the historic Orpheum. Guided tours of the “Grand Old Lady of Granville Street” will take place every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 11am on a starting date yet to be determined,  Click on EVENTS for tour dates and more information.

Tours are open to the public with no advance booking required. Those interested should arrive at the Orpheum’s Smithe Street Entrance at least 10 minutes prior to the 11 am start time. Orpheum Tours are limited to a maximum of 30 people on a first come first served basis. This tour involves stair climbing. It is not suggested for children under the age of 12 years of age.

The cost is a minimum cash-only donation of $10. The tours lasts for approximately 1 ½ hours and explores the theatre’s hidden spaces and the backstage area. All proceeds will go to further the work of the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame which honours British Columbians who have excelled in all disciplines of entertainment.
