Mar-12-2020 • Exciting things are happening at the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame! Nominations! Recently, the Board of Directors recognized the need to upgrade our Stars category of highly recognizable artists and also rename the Pioneers category to better reflect our Stars of notable and special recognition. A NEW Website! The Board also approved the creation of a new BC Entertainment Hall of Fame website. Date to Watch! Oct-14-2019 • Vancouver Mayor Kennedy Stewart proclaimed September 29th as 'Nardwuar Day!' Nardwuar is Vancouver’s very own legendary music historian, having been a staple of Canadian TV and radio for decades. To celebrate his induction into the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame, Nardwuar hosted a free, all ages gig at The Commodore Ballroom on Sunday September 29th. Aaron Chapman was MC and Nardwuar's band The Evaporators entertained the crowd. Mayor Stewart was in attendance to present an official 'Nardwuar Day' proclamation.  Truly a memorable occasion....Congratulations Nardwuar! 
Jul-4-2019 • Once again this summer, VCT and the BCeHOF are hosting FREE guided tours of the Orpheum theatre, one of the most beautiful concert halls in North America. The Orpheum, a designated National Heritage Site, was built in 1927. Each year the theatre hosts international musicians, popular concerts and unique events; it is also home to the beloved Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. The 90 minute walking tours are led by the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame and reveal some secrets of the theatre's history. One story includes Frank Sinatra almost being kicked out of the theatre for breaking dressing room...
