Nov-13-2018 • On November 22 at 8 pm we will be honouring legendary Jazz musician Lloyd Arntzen at the Tangent Cafe on Commercial Drive. Lloyd is a true pioneer of BC Jazz Music, so please join us next Thursday for his induction into the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame as a 2018 Musical Pioneer.  Here's a short bio of his talent & accomplishments: Lloyd Arntzen is a clarinetist, vocalist, soprano saxophonist, arranger, bandleader, composer and music director. Nov-9-2018 • BC Entertainment Hall of Fame inducts 3 new stars November 18th at 2pm in the UBC Old Auditorium performance hall. Opera Stars, Ben Heppner, cc - Nancy Hermiston, oc and Georgia Straight Publisher, Dan McLeod will be inducted. Oct-24-2018 • On Saturday October 20th in front of The Roxy on Granville Street, Todd Kerns became the newest inductee on the BC Entertainment Walk of Fame. Vocalist, songwriter, producer, player of numerous instruments and all around nice guy, Todd is an incredibly accomplished musician, currently on tour with Slash and part of the Canadian band Toque. Post-induction, Kerns performed a 3 hour set in front of a sold out crowd as numerous guest musicians / friends joined him for a song or two. He provided his fans with an unforgettable, unique musical experience.
